ABOUT MANTIS COLLECTION
Mantis Collection began with two thousand
acres of eroded and abused land, a small insignificant
piece of valley bushveld, and from this grew Shamwari
Game Reserve. Shamwari is now 20 000 hectares in
size and has seen the re-introduction of all the
large game that once roamed the Eastern Cape. Our
Mantis Collection has grown with the addition of
Lake Pleasant in Knysna, Sanbona Wildlife
Reserve in the Klein Karoo, Jock Safari Lodge in
the Kruger National Park, Bushman Sands in Alicedale,
Saxon Hotel in Johannesburg and the Draycott Hotel
in London. We proudly host visitors from all
over the world.
